How to get to Sipalay City
Big Bamboo Beach Resort Sipalay is located in Sugar Beach, on North of Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines
Direct flights are available with Cebu Pacific or Philippines Airlines from Manila to Bacolod, capital of Negros or to Dumaguete city.
Transportation from Bacolod or Dumaguete to Sipalay is available either by private car, vans or aircon bus (3 hours trip) or by public bus (4 to 5 hours)
How to get to Big Bamboo Beach Resort Sipalay
Currently, the Nauhang bridge connecting to Sugar Beach is under construction. So as there is no direct road access to Sugar Beach yet, for time being, the best way to reach the resort is to take a boat from Sipalay City Beach going directly to the front of the resort in Sugar Beach (15-20 min ride – php 400 per trip up to 6 persons during day). We can arrange the boatman to wait for you at the large WOW Sipalay sign located at the Poblacion beach. It is about a 3 min walk from the bus terminal.
You can also reach the resort by going directly to the end of Nauhang Beach using Montilla Road on North of Sipalay. You can take a tricycle from Sipalay City going to the end of Nauhang Beach (php 100 per pers).
From the end of Nauhang beach, we can arrange a boat to take you directly to the front of the resort in Sugar Beach (php 300 per trip up to 6 pers during day)
you can just walk through the bridge and then walk about 10-15 min along Sugar Beach until you reach the resort.
You also have the option to get off the bus/van at Montillia and take a tricycle (approximately php 75 per head) going directly to Nauhang.
If you come by car, it is favorable to park it at Nauhang (php. 100 to watch your car overnight)
For evening boat trips; additional charge of php 100 applies. Prices for tricycles are also higher.
